Relma’s practice focuses on oil and gas law, particularly title examination of fee, federal and state lands. She frequently represents clients before the Utah Board of Oil, Gas and Mining.
Prior to law school, Relma’s work experience was varied. With a B.S. in mining engineering technology, she worked as a drilling and blasting supervisor at a surface coal mine in southern Indiana. Other employment included the Engineering Department of the Indiana Public Service Commission and appointment as judge of a court of limited jurisdiction in Rangely, Colorado.
Relma earned her J.D. from Southern Illinois University. She is a member of the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation, the Utah Association of Professional Landmen, the Utah Mining Association, the Kentucky Bar Association and Utah State Bar. Relma is licensed to practice in Kentucky, Utah and Colorado. |
